So turn them in, dont whine on the internet. What effect do you perceive that to have on more people abiding to the law.

Personally I'd rather have the warden spend his time on game violations aka poaching.

No shit. Amen.

Does WI still have a reg where hunts must wear a “license plate” with their hunting ID # on their back? That’s one stupid reg.

In Ohio I always carry an orange ball cap in my pack, even during bow season.

Started for safety reasons.... if I hurt my leg or something, others could have an easier time finding me.

Then one day the neighbor rides up near the property line, puts a target on a fence post and starts plinking away. I was above him in a tree, 100 yards away, but a whistle and grabbing that hat and he went to shoot elsewhere.

Seems more useful in thicker brush, where Hunter orange will allow seeing someone beyond your target that would not be visible if shooting at game.

At least here in Colorado we can also wear pink......hot pink.........

I have looked and looked for a good hat, I almost bought the kaga/Trump but it was snapback, and sure as bananas are curved, I can't find a vest. I'd wear it just in case someone saw me and it conflicted with their plans, they might let the girl in pink have a go at it.

I insist people I'm hunting upland with wear orange, at least a hat. It's so I can see them and they can see me and I'll have fewer lost opportunities to shoot, because I can't see them and don't know where they are. I'm not going to shoot if I don't see them and know where they are. I usually don't come across other hunters when upland hunting. This is Bill's rule.

If everyone in your club has shot one another at some point in time, i would be wearing head to toe orange on private land too!!

I'm not in a club. Never said that I was. Just pointing out how common it is in Virginia's culture. Within several miles of where I live houses and cars have had their windows shot out accidentally. A lack of hunting safety is a cultural problem and wearing orange hasn't fixed it.

JonnyB, I'm glad you live in the free state of Calif. as I thought with all the freedoms you had you'd be able to ride without a helmet, buy as many rounds of ammo you'd like but I guess that's in another Commiefornia, SORRY for me not knowing how much freedom you guys really have Hehehe lo loll WTF
