Because the 243 is fast enough already and the 308 is for senior citizens. So they can just use the peak alloy cases for any round, and make it run higher velocities? Why the 6.5 cm and not the .308 or .243?

Probably because they can safely assure all 6.5CM rifles are of modern, sound production because of the age of the cartridge. The same can't be said of rounds introduced decades ago.So they can just use the peak alloy cases for any round, and make it run higher velocities? Why the 6.5 cm and not the .308 or .243?

OuchIf I had to guess, I would say it's something that nobody wanted or ever asked for.

Practice with the cheap stuff and once you get these dialed in just leave it until time to huntDon’t see a huge advantage if you are shooting highly frangible lead bullets but loading non lead bullets with those velocities make sense for sure, don’t love the price at 70+ bucks a box though, dang!

Ain't nothing but a couple clicks, and it should be repeatable.I’m assuming the change in velocity would change POI a fair bit

Only until it burns up in 500 rounds….always a trade offThe 6.5 CM barrel in my safe just became more interesting…
I only lose screwing it onto an action, and it gets out of my safe. Seems like a easy trade…Only until it burns up in 500 rounds….always a trade off
