I dont think it's that similar. With tikka tubes, i'd expect less than 2600 FPS with a 20" 6.5 creed and factory hornady 140 ELDm. I'd expect 200+ FPS faster with a 6 Creed 108 ELDm with similar barrel length.

My 20" 243 Tikka is pushing the 103s a little over 2800 fps in 85 degree weather. I haven't finalized load development yet, but I know I can get over 2,800 fps.

I would expect a 20" Tikka 6CM to generate similar velocities with the same powder charges.

I am not a reloader, so ammo availability and cost are key factors in my decision in a new purchase. I have been with friends who left ammo at home and had to drive a long way to find what they needed. In the small towns I have been in, the 6.5 cm has been showing up over the last few years.
