I've only gained 8 of the 20 lbs back that I lost last elk season so far, but it certainly isn't because of eating less or exercising more. I've done more eating and less exercising (as in none) since September. I need to pick it up if I want to get back up to weight before the season starts. Otherwise I'll really be in the hole next year. But I haven't been able to lift much with some pain in my right shoulder. I'm sure that's holding back some usual weight gain.

These studies are done based on people that were already fat and out of shape. They gained the weight back for the same reason they originally gained it. Because they eat too much and are lazy. The same can probably be said of the excuse makers that wrote the article. Thanks for posting though. I do enjoy reading this sort of stuff.
