The Argali Clothing Project

@ChrisAU we are designing a knee pad compatible pant. I think our Vesper Pant has some advantages over the Kutana and has ventilation, durability, comfort and is built for warm/hot weather.

If the vesper is a Kutana with a better fit they will crush the market. Not sure you can top Kutana durability. Really looking forward to when my Vesper pants ship in the next month.

Good deal. This is how I’ve felt when talking to manufacturers about attempting to supplant Kutanas for half a decade now:

Texas hot and Arizona hot aren't really comparable though. 110 in AZ is more comfortable than 85 in Houston. Breathable is for dry climates, that isn't what we're after. Your sweat doesn't evaporate when it's 102 degrees and 72% RH.

It's really about how well the clothing handles being fully saturated with sweat. Sagging and chafing is way more of a concern than how air-permeable the material is.

I completely understand. I live in Mississippi so pretty much same weather. That goes for cold too! 38 degrees with 80-90% humidity will freeze you to death.

Tried key word searching the thread and didn't have any luck, but any idea how the pants and fleece hold up to shrinkage in the wash?

Went to the NW Hunt Expo in OR just last weekend and was glad I was able to try on a set of pants. I'm a bean stalk and decided to size down from 32 to 30. The 32 were a touch too big necessitating the need to run a belt, so I decided to switch to 30s which felt perfect without a belt. Just wanna make sure if I wash them I won't be regretting my decision if they shrink.

Would love to hear from any and all so I can either feel confident about my decision or quickly send an email to change my size back lol
