I'm going to bet now that the new 6UM brass is coming out we'll see more 22UM testing. Gotta be easier to make 22 from 6mm than it was with 7mm or old 6UM.

anyone wants to see .25 sd eldm (88 gr .22 cal) difference in gel from 3200 fps impact down to 1450-1500 fps check these videos out below in the link, I think it's about 11" bomb at 3200 and at 1450-1500 the bullets left the gel out the side around the 20" mark doing good work from 4.5" till exited, it's 168 gr eld-m (same .25 sd) tested hot from 300wm to loaded right down to see they they will perform way out there...

click here, just use the search on his page for '168 eld match'

eld-m construction might be happier with .3 sd if going to run at near mach 4 lol???, make your own conclusions, that 88 eld-m at 3700 might cut deer in half though, I'm thinking gopher with a .17 hmr v-max at 50 yards, maybe even get em to do a summersault while they explode? looks like some compensation may be required by adding sd or jacket? could actually be the gopher hmr equivalent to coyotes though....red mist

6.5 eldm are .287 sd for 140, and .301 sd for 147...lots more tail to keep penetrations up for the fast close hits, the 108 6mm eldm is .26 so can handle bit more speed than the 88/22, 123/6.5, 168/30 which all have .25 sd

you need 100 and 105 gr eldm in .22 cal to match the 6.5 140/147 sd's
