The 22br experience

Depending on how hard you push it(pressure, rate of fire, volume between cooling) I'd say anywhere from 2000-3000 rounds. Basically same case capacity to bore ratio as a 6gt.

Finally (after building a house) got the barrel on and ready. Man you do not realize how much stuff for reloading you accumulate over the years. Plus having to start over with a new room.

Anyway, did some measuring and loaded up some rounds to see where pressure was. I decided to try RL15 with the 88 ELDM's. Started at 27.5 up to 29.5. No pressure and continued up to 30.5. Groups opened up at 30.5, but still no pressure signs (2980 fps).

RL15 didn’t provide the best groups so I switched to Varget.

I loaded a few, and went over book max. Checked velocity and pressure signs. Settled on 28 grains and loaded 10 to check group size. 10 shot group was 1.019" at 2900 fps.
