Shout to Scheels for the fast shipping!!!

Now if Airlock will get me my two Nanos I can start load dev for these bad boys. Shouldn't be too much longer.

To my surprise, Billings Scheels still had a couple of boxes of the 88s. Looking forward to trying them out.

Im down here working, im trying not to go to scheels. The self control not to go there is insane
When I got on the site they didn't say Billings had any or I'd have ran over after work.

Not to encourage- but I think they still have some haha

Showing pick up available at Billings

I tried some 88 TMKs in my 20" 22 creed this morning.
39.0 grains of H4350 gave me 3003 fps avg in hornady brass with white river primers. No pressure signs and just under .6 moa 5 shot group.

I'm going to try some staball 6.5 to try and pick up a little more speed.

40.8gr Staball 6.5 worked for me. I didn't try to push it any harder.

Hahah I love how we live rent free in Weatherby Reloadings mind.
It's insane Fudds who don't kill try and argue that a high speed TMK won't kill elk effectively.

He had to post a reel yesterday calling out Roksliders. Pure gold

That and I’ll add if you want an 88 ELDM specific freebore it’d be approximately .170”. That puts the shank ~.050” above the neck shoulder junction at touch and the OAL still has plenty of room to fit most all common magazines and boxes.
What would the OAL be with this specific freebore and the 88eld at touch

Is there anyone here that has done some killing with the 85.5 hybrid? Not one or two here and there but really spent some time with it. I just got some in and noticed that the tips are pretty closed up which has caused some issues for me in the past with other bergers

We’ve killed a few antelope with them. I’ve killed lots of coyotes. Zero issues with the 85.5’s.
