Here's my actual fps and then what GRT calculates with a Sebert factor of 0.5. This is with a 16.5" barrel (PVA 100FB) and a Scythe Ti suppressor.

39gr of H4350 in my 18" was 2980fps. I started seeing faint/light E marks at 40gr, and a heavy bolt lift at 41gr. I dropped back to 39gr and called it for H4350. I went to 40.5gr with N555 at 2940fps and no PSI signs,

I contemplated building a 22 creed specifically to run 69 eldvt for thermal coyotes/fox with the intention of saving fur. After reading this entire thread, thinking I'd be better off sticking with 223. Mostly bc my thermal has a rangefinder & ballistics and to avoid big holes. 53 vmax has been a great yote killer but they won't shoot in my tikka. What bullet would you guys recommend i load up ?

I use the 50 grain vmax for night hunting a lot. Never tried them in a 22 creedmoor but have shot lots of them from 223s and 22-250s.
Not too hard on fur if you stay off bone. They obviously aren't a high BC bullets but for calling at night, that usually isn't top priority.

The 55 blitz has a chance, I'll snag a box to try. The gun especially hates 52 eldm. I suspect it just doesn't like low 50's.
The thing shoots 73s and 77's very well. Might also try the 60 tmk- wish they made a 60ish eldm

I tried out N560 in my 18" 22cm today. 43gr-45 grains on ladder. I had slight heavy bolt lift @ 44.5gr and a heavy bolt lift @ 45gr.
I had 5 rounds loaded @ 43.5 gr just on a guess, based on other powder pressure tests. Sure enough, it's about where I'd want to be with N560. 5 shots were about 3/4" @ 100 which is worse than the gun typically shoots with H4831sc. I also had 1 shot that was low on velocity compared to the other 4. Maybe i slightly under charged, i do not know.
I am going to load up 20 rounds today @ 43.5 grains and see how it groups and also determine if it was indeed a little erratic or if I under charged a rd.

I gained 100fps over H4831sc at similar pressures, but initial accuracy test, albeit only 5 shots, appears to not be as accurate. I was hoping for more speed out of these 77's, but I think 3000-3100 is where this barrel is gonna top out at safely.

Agreed - if you're looking to save fur, I wouldn't go 22 Creed. Honestly, for foxes, 223 might even be too much depending on the projectile. Those things are so thin skinned.

I had read enough good things on the 53 gr Vmax that I figure I'll give them a try in my 223. Going to pull the factory barrel soon and replace with a proof prefit that's been sitting on my shelf for a while now. Might even punch that out to 223 AI for a little extra oomph.

Since your rifle doesn't like the 53, I'll second the recommendation for the 55 blitzking.

24” preferred barrel 1:8 twist
20 shots averaged 3820fps.
It’s 1 mil flatter and same wind hold as 80 eld-m at 750.
It was about 50* this morning
If I was hunting a lot of coyotes this would be my main bullet/combo

I'm running Alpha brass which I guess just doesn't have the capacity of your Peterson brass. 47 grains fills my case to the very top. It would be a very compressed load. Is that load compressed in your Peterson brass?

It’s not compressed in Peterson
Alpha has the least capacity, normally 2~ grains less than Peterson

Not quite 22 Creed, but close enough:

I like to tinker and thought I'd try the 53 gr Vmax out of my 1:8 22-250 AI. Loaded a few to check pressure with RL-15 and took my can off in case RPMs were too much. Using Sierra 22-250 AI data, max of 38.8 gr yielded 3615. Better yet, all bullets made it to the target without issue.

I loaded up a few charges this morning to see how they group. Going to see if I can push them to ~ 3700. Assuming these shoot well, they should be pretty rough on varmints/predators.
