Thanksgiving Hunt Help

My wife just informed me she's off to Disney with the kids end of November 2018.....and I don't have to go! So I've got a week long yard pass but have never hunted outside of my home state that late in the year. I typically get out of the mountains before the snow gets deep. What would be a good hunt that late in the year? I'm open to anything that's not fenced in. Thanks in advance!

What's your home state and how far are you willing to travel?

Probably should have mentioned that. From Louisiana but have spent a good bit of time hunting out west. Bow and rifle, backpack wilderness to whitetail stand hunting. I'd like to keep it in the lower 48 or Canada for this trip.

Dude! Go to Canada. I took a 12 day guided hunt there and saw more shooters and went to full draw more times in two weeks than the past 10 years in the lower 48. Crazy how many stalks I did each day.

A friend may have an opening for a rut blacktail hunt in CA. Thanksgiving is prime time. Do you bowhunt?
