I bought a set of Quick-Stix many years ago and used them a lot. Kept them in my truck. Started guiding a few years ago and wound up using a different brand of collapsable shooting sticks as they were very light, compact, and I could tie to the cantle of my saddle easily. BUT, "seasoned" hunters used them more for walking sticks, so I broke out my Quick Stix for them. Without the baskets on the poles, they fit in my scabbard. They were a hit with all the hunters who used them.

Bought another set of Quick-Stix for a fellow guide and he has used them extensively this year with great success.

My brother shot his first elk off a set this fall. As the bull walked up the hill he was able to adjust height of the sticks by squeezing the bottoms together with his left hand until the bull stepped into an opening. 350 yards, one shot, bull down. He had never used them before but found them "intuitive". He said he could never have made the shot without them in the situation with very limited time to set up.

In December I received an email from @Wiser Shane that I almost deleted as junk mail. Seems he drew my name from orders this year and wanted to send me a gift of Quick-Stix and Black Diamond trekking poles, but since I'd already bought them before, did I want a BA-7 Sparrow Bino Adapter? No actually, I'd take another set of Quick-Stix, and Thank You Very Much! Well, he threw in the Sparrow anyway.

Just received them. The Black Diamond trekking poles are noticeably higher quality than the last set I'd bought from Costco (but they still work well). Will put this all to good use this year at NRL matches and hunting. May even give my brother the other set, or maybe not...

Just wanted to give him a shout out. I appreciate his products, and service. Another example of the way things ought to be.
