Currently living in central Texas, just south of Austin, but originally from west Texas. Yes Texas does have a lot of different species here , lots of great whitetail and exotics. Mostly private hunting land though.

Pretty area! I visited a navy buddy in Georgetown and spent some time in Austin and the surrounding places. Jumped off the rocks at Blue Hole, then this Alaskan boy saw a water snake, they said I almost levitated out of that water in my rush to get back out! lol. Welcome to the forum.
