Here's a little update on the testing with a couple of issues that have surfaced.
1. This rifle has a feeding issue when working the bolt slow and quiet. The cartridge base binds in the bolt rails as the following case is pushed upward. Any forward push with the bolt then jams the case shoulder into the top of the action. The only remedy is to open the floorplate the dump the following rounds including the jammed round. I could not replicate the jam when working the bolt hard and fast, but there are times when slow and quiet are necessary.

2. Shooting 10 round groups has revealed that the barrel is walking severely as it heats up. I started noticing this while shooting 5 shot groups with minimal cooling between. It was perplexing at first causing me to check torque values on every screw, verify if the bedding is solid (it is and the barrel isn't touching either), and
swap out several scopes. The results have been the same; a walking point of impact that moves up and to the left as the barrel heats up. The photo below is the last 100 yard group I shot without any adjustments to the scope.

The rifle has been sent back to Weatherby for evaluation and I am curiously waiting to hear the prognosis.
