Well here is my recent work in progress. It is constructed of LS-21, X-PAC, and some 1000d grid rip stop. I really wanted a lightweight do all kind of bag made from modern day UL fabric. Full I estimate the pack to be around 4000 cu in with the ability to add a lid. It packs down super small when compressed. Key features:

-Aquaguard two way zips on front L/R, allow bag to splay open to access gear
-Front stretch pocket with daisy chain
-Tall stretch L side pocket
-Nalgene stretch pocket R side with daisy chain to tie off gear
-Stretch sleeve on bottom to stash layers or quick access items
-Internal mesh pockets for organization
-Internal stretch hydration sleeve pocket
-Internal D-rings to attach Stone Glacier camp pocket or Kifaru chamber pockets
-Hydration port

I still have to bind it, add the accessories straps for bow/gun, finish the roll top, and bar tack and reinforce everything. I’ll get picks of it compressed and final weight when I am finished. Hope you guys like it! 46602153-8E2B-421E-93DE-D1753614A437.jpeg4D9D5EFF-1BC1-4914-AEF0-277B07F98535.jpeg4263C865-5FAF-4EE8-BFFF-731A4A7EA68A.jpegA4E49DD9-8262-4ACC-B7DA-A9E7BADB9C2F.jpegD6EF3511-67FC-4A87-A8D9-AE0C58E6626E.jpeg1C9BC350-74F8-43AF-B58C-4217228046B2.jpeg

Impressive work, very well thought out! How long have you been making bags?

Thank you! I’ve been messing around with the sewing machine for about 6 years. I started altering tactical gear and then moved to making stuff from the ground up. This is my second soup to nuts backpack.

Got around to binding and bar racking the bag today. Still have to finish the roll top and then she will be done. 9E866235-C59C-416F-BB47-5A5BAA1167D4.jpeg4BE10C1F-05FC-409D-85B3-B477CED35F78.jpeg1BFE89E3-4594-4E00-91EC-5F0D2A11B690.jpeg

What kind of bar tacker do you have? Impressive you even have one as I assume you're a hobbyist (like me!).
I’ve actually got access to a full parachute rigging shop so that helps. I’ve got a Consew 206 at home where I sewed the preponderance of this project
