Tent repair

I have an old kifaru 8 man tipi. The sil nylon has dried out in several spots, creating holes. Is tenacious tape the best way to repair?

I would contact them to be sure the material doesn't require any special adhesive. I used a tenacious tape round patch on my tent rain fly a few years ago. I did it on both sides of the tear and it has held up fine. I used the tent last week.

I highly doubt anyone left there at Kifaru is going to know anything about this tent, designed by Patrick. I miss him being there.
