Anyone have experience with Tenacious repair tape? Ripped a Kuiu vest and the material is to thin to sew. I heard tenacious tape works well, but for how long? Give it a shot or get a new vest??

Used it on the bug netting on my tent and its still holding even under tension when I have it pitched.

I tore a hole in a Kuiu Chugach jacket about 6-7 years ago. I put a patch on the inside and the outside. Through many washings the tape is still holding strong.

Same process as Bowuntr. Got a few patches on a few jackets and rain pants too. Holding strong. Even through extensive use and multiple washings. Patched some spark holes on a tent with success too. Amazing stuff.

Its amazing and thin. Gorilla tape is just as good, if not better... not at thin though..

Puffy pants, puffy coat, quilt, sleeping bag...it all has some T tape on it! Stuff if magic.

Always keep some in my pack. Gear saver. I have patches on a few synthetic down jackets that have been through the washer and the patches are still holding strong. I just make sure to cut my patches in circles so there are no sharp corners to catch and peel.

I even used some to cover a cracked/shattered iPhone and it worked there too!

I used it to fix a sleeping bag on the mountain last year, prepped with mouse piss in that situation...keep an eye on your gear at night, mice love to steal insulation. Held up just fine until I sold it, the product is suitably named in my opinion.

I ripped my pants in an L pattern about 3" long, crossing a barbed wire fence a few years ago. I put some tenacious tape on them and it's been on for a few years now and through the washer and dryer many times without issue. Good as new.

The stuff is incredible for just about any plausible situation you could need it. I always carry the stuff.

It's by far the best patching material I've ever used. Everything from puffy's to rain jackets.

I’ve patched multiple things with it and had great luck. Largest success being 2 sleep pads with large holes in Alaska and they held for 3 more nights before we flew out. Probably still holding

Fixed my Kuiu puffy with it for years. Burn a 6 inch hole in a marmut helium sleeping bag and taped that shut as well. There are a couple of thicknesses in that tape so I would use the thinnest one for a garment repair. Works awesome!
