Hey all,
I struck out on drawing this year so I am joining the ranks of the OTC circus this year. I plan on hunting in 54 second season elk and was wondering if there is anyone out there looking for a partner or has an established group that goes that I could join.
I have quite a bit of experience in this unit/area, I will be helping a close friend both in archery and muzzleloader while trying to fill my bear tag. I know the unit decently well so I'm hoping I can contribute equally to the hunt so I'm not just looking to much off spots. I know how steep/tough the terrain is, I'm AD mil and in very good shape.
I've got a 3 person hot tent I plan on using for camping, I know there is a good chance there will be a good amount of snow by then. I am stationed out of COS and would open to meeting up prior to going. Also open to going with someone who is new to the unit if they are in the proper shape for it and willing to contribute equally to the hunt.
