That's pretty pathetic. In a time when children are committing suicide because of bullying we have teachers to perpetuate the problem? What does that teach the other kids? It's insane that a liberal can discriminate against people who's lifestyle and viewpoint differs from their own and the majority of people and news organizations won't say a word but reverse that role and have a conservative express their opinions and people lose their minds and scream to high heaven at how racist and small minded we are. In my opinion both that teacher and principal need to apologize to the little girl and her parents then be terminated.

I could give a shit what anyone's feeling on the subject are, but as a teacher of young children it's not your job to impart your opinions upon our youth, it's especially not your job to single children out because your beliefs differ from what they are being taught at home. Teach your subject and move it along. Both need the axe as far as I'm concerned.

This is insane. I'd raise all kinds of cain if anyone ever did that to my daughter. That teacher has no place saying that to a kid or trying to interject their opinions like that. What shocked me the most though was that the school backed up the teacher.

wow! in southern Mo some of the school districts are closed for some of the days of deer season because hunting is just part of life there...

unfortunately this seems to be the norm of what today's america is shaping up to be a bunch of hypocritical babies who preach tolerance yet at the same time are the most intolerant people if you don't conform to "their" beliefs. it's sad! I feel bad for the girl as she should have never been put through that by a teacher let along a school district.

Most teachers get a little too high on their horse and should concentrate more on doing a better job in the classroom. In PA most schools have the opening day of deer off. Not sure if it will last the rest of my life time, license sales are said to be record low. Shame.

Considering all the bizarre things that society is being told is "normal" now days, yet putting meat on the table to feed your family, an activity that has been crucial to life itself for thousands of generations, is suddenly evil, I loathe the upswelling of pretentious, sellrighteous do-gooders, they are the cancerous rot within our society and yet the vast majority of our society seem happy to be led by them and accept their heineous preaching.
