Teach me the art of hunting a saddle

Still fairly new to the elk hunting game…have a trip planned to Idaho in 2 weeks and found what looks to be an awesome saddle.

So my question is, say this saddle has elk passing thru it/feeding in it. What is the most efficient and effective way to hunt it with the wind and thermals? Saddles seem to be the wildcard for swirling winds and mixing thermals. Please teach me

They swirl but they still obey the laws of thermodynamics. This is just my personal preference but I like to come down into one from above when the day is warm and air is definitely rising. Air moves side to side (from wind) way more than it moves up and down. But that's just me.
