TC triumph light primer strikes

Long story. Cleaned gun after season, put back together and breech wouldn’t fully lock up and close. It the process of trying, I literally shattered the pivoting trigger guard in the process. After getting a new one, and literally taking the gun apart and putting it back together 36 times till I got the pivot pin lock up nut adjusted perfectly where it would lock up perfect and tight; it now is giving me light primer strikes. After maybe 5-6 cycles it will finally set off the primer. It dents the primer every time, but won’t make it go pop. I’ve cleaned the firing pin channel, brand new breech plug as well. Side note, only the triple 7 primers will occasionally go off. The standard federal 209’s do nothing. Any thoughts?
