What ramrod are you guys using with your Omega? I picked up a used Omega last year and the ramrod is not in the greatest shape and doesn't stay put anymore, it will slide out sometimes while walking.

SpinJag custom aluminum. Or a custom carbon fiber rod.

Take off the forend and bend the spring back into shape. I like the T handle rod that came with the Triumph. There’s some other companies that make them as well.

There’s no spring rod retainer on an Omega. But there is probably (depending on version) a little set screw that you can adjust the tension on the tip of the rod.

Oh no kidding! Just assumed it did. How does it stay put (or not stay put) with just that screw? Theres nothing on the underside of the forearm?

Nope. Just a little set screw that catches narrow part of the tip of the ramrod. Works great (better than a spring).

I don't have an Omega but I use, and have used in the past, several of these, with several different rifles:
