TC Contender Pistols

I picked ups mint TC Contender Super 16 in 45-70.
Going to play with it and use it on a spring bear.

Use it for deer and bear season in Pa....factory loaded 350gr to 405gr softpoints are all you need, if you dont reload. Lots of bears in Pa.....I go up to Cameron county.......just north of Renovo.

I haven’t hunted with a rifle in 20yrs….it’s all handgun or bow for me!
The T/C Contender or Encore is very capable!

I’ve got a 10” .357 Max and had 12” 7-30 Waters. I’ve killed a few deer with both. Ive got a 10” 22 Long Rifle barrel that’s a lot of fun to shoot.

There are some pretty sweet examples of TC and CVA pistols with braces. You get a 14” rifle caliber in a 3-4# package. I have all the pieces to put one together but am waiting for the dumb pistol brace crap to shake out before I put time in it.
