TBAC CB brake question

Just purchased 1st suppressor ( TBAC Magnus S-CB) In the box was a supplied non timed ported adapter.. Shop also had the different style adapter for additional charge, (looked like a normal 2 port timed brake)
Question is, has anyone shot these SxS and noticed any difference in recoil? Is it worth it to upgrade? Or is it more for someone that removes suppressor he’s still left with a side ported brake? This is going on my wife’s 6.5 Saum so I’d like to reduce recoil as much as possible. If I plan on taking off suppressor wouldn’t I screw the original brake back on the gun? Or are you supposed to thread lock the adapter to the barrel?
Any tips on that appreciated. Should have it in 4-5 weeks the shop said. Thanks

I have 3 TBACs that bounce between 8-10 rifles. I have all 3 of their style of CB adapters you refer to. The only model that might make a slight difference in recoil is the timed brake. Personally I have never shot them without the can on them as that defeats the purpose of the suppression . I doubt you will be able to tell the difference.
