Just had 10.5 vanish from my life today. Glad I could support the good life for those who can enjoy it while I am working.
Those bastards owe me $15k still (from 2021) and now I have to cut them a check for more. Not sure how that worked out but the good thing is nobody over there will answer my calls. It’s probably a huge white mound on Zelensky’s desk.

One year I audited my taxes and found that they owed me about 13k. They paid interest on the money they owed me....so it's worth the wait.

20k here and my forecasted quarterlys tripled. That's going to be a bitch to cash flow. Guess I should've prepaid fertilizer at a significantly higher price, would've been money ahead.

Mine was after the 48k I had deducted in withholdings....
As far as the neighbors telling you that you are lucky for paying taxes. I think what people mean by that is. If you have to pay quite a bit in taxes it generally means you may quite a bit of money. Paying taxes suck. But on the years that I have to pay quite a bit of taxes on cattle I usually am pretty happy about it. That usually means that I actually made some money. Those years that you don't pay anything you end up at the end of the year and not have any money made

Send them a bill for “penalties and interest” like they do to us.

I never complained about taxes when I was working and now retired cuz as a traveling construction worker I used infrastructure getting to a from work in several states over the years.
I always told people complaining about paying taxes if they don’t like paying taxes quit your job and embrace poverty. I would also add grow a garden and pick up road kill while riding your bicycle 😆

Got mine done early, netted ~$700 back and got a $500 increase in my monthly health insurance subsidy through the state exchange. Retirement has its benefits.

I did mine today. My outstanding liability was only a couple hundred dollars. Not too bad. I try to get as close to $0 as I can, but the PFD always messes me up a little because they don't withhold any of that when its dispersed. Big PFD this year.
