Heck, with mortgage interest deductions, charitable contributions, and child tax credits........it's almost impossible to not get money back.

After adding in a student loan , I'm pretty much convinced it is impossible to not get a Fed return. At least they have the state figured out so that I can break even.


Mine is going towards tooling, reamers and a couple barrels to make the kids some 260s.

What is a tax return? Haven't had one if 5 years. Including all those items listed above, I even have a business on the side that loses money for the tax write off.

Thats pretty much how it worked for us until we had kids.

What is a refund? Not that I am disappointed in my representation but I think my tax goes to some illegal. I don't get deductions I get alternative minimum taxation. If I did get a refund I would buy my kid some new binoculars cause she thinks looking at wildlife is really cool.
