Tarp vs tent in snow

Looking for a lightweight shelter that could hold up to potential snowfall while hunting Colorado this fall.

Max 2 people using shelter at once

I’ve been looking at the kifaru tarps, the seek outside cimarron, and a few BA tents.

Would love any and all input from y’all. Thanks

Paratarps will handle the snow, I've had mine mine in a few good snow storms. The kicker is that crawling in and out of a low tarp is no fun in snow. Neither is hanging out in one for long periods of time. I'd recommend a taller tipi style shelter, or a well designed tent. IE not a cheapo 3 season. Hilleberg, Tarptent, Zpacks, etc would be good.

I love my SO cimarron with stove for when the snow flies. I don't have a 4 season tent though, so for me it's either 3 season UL tents or a hot tent. Lots of options and ways to do it I guess.
