Looks like Seek Outside and Argarli have both recently released SiPoly tarps. Very identical specs. Trying to decide on one. Has anyone compared the two more in depth?

I bought the Stone Glacier SkyTarp 10. A little bit larger and right about the same weight as those two. Haven't used it yet (just bought it a month ago) but I'm sure it will get used before spring bear is up.

Just another similar priced and spaced option with a little more space.

I like the versatility of the center patch, which unfortunately SG does’t offer. Looks like an excellent tarp though.

Unsolicited third option warning:

I’ve considered the DST for years, but honestly think the Warbonnet Ground Tarp is far superior for my uses. Having the ability to close off the sides to keep weather out without using a bunch of material and losing floor space is a big deal to me.

Maybe the $45 is gas money for the slow boat from China? All kidding aside, I really don't like it when companies ship stuff overseas and the customer doesn't see the value from it.

Oh well, its a free market!
They have to make enough money to pay the youtubers-or no one would buy their stuff.

I haven't used the Argali, but I have the older silnylon version of the DST (might have to get the silpoly one!), and it's awesome. Very high quality, lots of pitching options, so many pullouts, reinforced center with a loop on the back so that you can tie off to a tree or pole to pull it out. Plus I trust Seek Outside gear in general because it's solid workmanship and their customer service is amazing.

The seek is made here by the company that sells it, the Peax is made in China by who knows what manufacturer and then has a label attached to it.

I’ve only ever used a seek, it was nice and I wish I had one.

They weren't asking about Peax. Apparently there are many people still willing to give the free pass to Seek over their political views. Pick your poison, made in China, or from a domestic socialist. Isn't capitalism great?

I am also in the market for a tarp. I like the idea of silpoly, also considering dynema like the Zpacks but not sure I can justify the expense. Also considered these two. I dont know their political views but I am giving the Slingfin NFT a real hard look. I like the slight catenary cut and guy out options.

I'm strongly considering the Seek DST tarp. I want something i can pitch quickly if the weather turns wet but not necessarily camp under, unless it's an emergency. Any other tarps to consider?
