Sold Tang safety Ruger m77 270win "modernized"

Selling my grandpa's "modernized" Ruger M77 in 270 win that he had a hayday making before he passed away.


Work he had done to it:

Fully floated barrel

Glass bedded

Cerakoted the barrel/action/all internal parts & screws

Threaded barrel (1/2-28)

Re-crowned to 11*

Cheek riser

Arca rail

Vertical Adjustable butt pad


Right before he passed he found a McMillan stock for it he was going to swap it all into. I can include that for an extra $400 if interested. They're pretty rare from the looks of it for the tang safety M77's.


Comes with the Bushnell Sportview 3.5-10x pictured


Can also include 150 various hunting rounds of 270 for an extra $150

Looks like a nice rifle. How does it shoot? I think you’ll regret selling it since it was your grandfathers and he put a lot of thought into it. If it were left handed I’d probably consider buying it. GLWS.

Ya I've toyed with the idea for a while and finally settled on selling it. I've got a few other rifles of his so I'll still have some of those memories. My safe just isn't big enough and I have a problem holding onto stuff I don't use.

It's a picky rifle with ammo. It seems to like nosler the best and will shoot a nice MOA group. I'm sure anyone who reloads could get it tighter but alas I'm short on free time so haven't dove down that rabbit hole yet ha
