Hello everyone, I just purchased a Tikka T3x in 7mm rem mag and not using a muzzle brake . I am a huge fan of Tally lightweight rings and have them on several rifles without issues. This rifle is a lot lighter than my other rifles and a magnum caliber. The scope weight comes in at 19 ounces. Has anyone had issues with them loosing up on the Tikka's? I want to keep this rig lightweight for Elk. Hope you guys can help.

I have Talley Lightweight rings on a Tikka T3 .300 WM shooting 215 grain bergers without a brake. Have never had any issues with them coming loose. I wouldn't worry about it one bit if you torque them to spec.

Mine stay tight when properly lok-tight'd and torqued. Never been a big fan of their fit and finish, though.

Would recommend lapping them to minimize rings marks on your optic, and increase the contact area between ring and scope.
