Our rings are made for our action radius and screw spacing only. Talley makes their rings for all sorts of rifles. Our rings are 7075 aluminum, Talleys are 6061. 7075 is harder, more durable, more precise to machine, and more expensive as a raw material. Our rings are machined to tolerances that eliminate the need to lap. It's a really good idea to lap Talleys. Our anodize coating is very consistent in thickness, which matters for consistent surface area contact on the critical surfaces. You can put your micrometer on a Talley ring to draw your own comparison on that aspect.
