So I am 6'6" and something that is often overlooked by people is not only do I need five extra inches of space then someone 6'1". I also need space for my feet to fit at the bottom of the shelter. So even if the shelter is 78 inches (6'6") at the ends of the shelter where you get close to the edge of the rainfly the slope makes it so I can't fit my feet that close to the end of the shelter. I typically look at shelters at least 84 inches (7') in length.
I have been looking to upgrade my tent set up to something lighter weight (I currently run a Big Agnes). From my research it looks hard to beat the Stone Glacier SkyAir ULT. It's long and wide and the system is modular so I can drop the vestibule, mesh insert, and ground cloth if I want to. Or I can bring them along. You can also set it up using only one trek pole so I can use the other while hunting as a shooting stick.
Admittedly, the x-mid that y'all have been talking about does some pretty intriguing as well. It definitely is long enough.
