How tall are you?

I'm 5'10", and a Slik 633 allows me to stand up straight in about 90% of situations. Occasionally, I have to shorten a leg or two for leveling so much that I have to crouch a little to look through the binos.

I'm 6'3", my two vets "the kit" is plenty tall for me to glass standing perfectly upright on flat ground, I think I still have 4" or so I can extend it. I generally only extend the top 3 sections to use an angled spotter while standing. On a steep slope with binos I'd be a bit limited by the downhill legs, havent really put that thru the paces, but it's a quite tall tripod compared to the others I've looked at. Not a "lightweight" by any stretch, sort of a "light heavyweight" tripod that'll easily support a spotter or for shooting off, but is significantly more compact and lighter than a full sized tripod. Closest thing to it is probably the RRS Ultralight 4-section long. Definitely not what I'd get for a dedicated backcountry tripod, but for a combo of PRS shooting and spotting, range use, and hunting it's worked well for me.

How tall are you? If over 6 feet then the Slik CF series is awesome. The 2 most popular are the CF-634 and CF-734. Both have instant rebates thru 12/31 and we have a promo code, promo24 that gives you another 10% off

Any of the full size RRS tripods will be tall enough.

The Leofoto non-LS 364 series tripods are all pretty tall also.
