Tall bucks

I have always liked tall bucks and with the success of the over 30 thread I thought I would start a Tall buck thread.

There is no such thing as a 30 tall buck with out some creative tape work.

This is one of the tallest bucks I have ever seen, G2's are 19 2/8 and 20 4/8. Measuring from the top of the skull straight up to even with the tallest tine is just under 24 inches.

Here is my tallest. I am 6'6" 375lbs so I make things appear smaller than they are. The shoulder mount shows his height.

A relative visiting Colorado Springs last week asked if this was normal. I said, “Mulies will bed down so they look out and see the world, so yeah, but the way his antlers angle up is much less boxy than our Western Wyoming deer.” Lol

These bucks are 20-21 inches straight up from the skull plate across the two tallest points. The tallest I've ever seen was 24".

He's not a tremendous buck by any means but this neat looking deer was hanging out near my cabin in Wyoming last year. Seems to qualify as a tall buck in my opinion.
