Great thoughts here. I’m going through this situation now with my 4 year old boy. He is very curious and so far has enjoyed hunting. I look at it solely as a way to connect and spend quality time with him. He’s gotten good at whispering quietly and for most of our hunts, he just asks me question after question. Hopefully he enjoys it and it becomes a passion of his, but I don’t want to force it on him or push him to go too much. I think just making sure they are having a great time and by making it exciting for them will go a long way. Time in the woods with your kids is worth more than any amount of money in the world.
