Tahr strap question

I just got the Tahr and In the process of putting it onto the frame, I can't seem to figure out what this strap is for.

Any help?

Lid my friend,standard or guide lid.I don't like them,i use a DIY buckles and 3 bar sliders with a very short strap so it keep the lid tight on top.

Like that short strap. Nice job reaper.

You could also run a split male on that top loop.

You could even use a k-clip on there for "super UL".
