Tactical Waterproof Pants

I saw these on FB and couldn't find a reference to them on Rokslide. I figure someone here has tried these given the price. I'm curious if they're just another FB product that ain't so good.

That web site is hilarious. I especially like the guy jumping over the bush with his shotgun.

As for the pants... there appear to be two different kinds listed on the site, so I'm not sure which ones you would get. But the 2nd pair at least are pretty great for the money. Those are the LA Police Gear pants.

You can order directly from LAPG incidentally (https://lapolicegear.com/), and they carry a bunch of other brands as well like 511 and Truspec. But they aren't waterproof pants... they're 65/35 poly/cotton blend with a pretty good DWR coating. They stay pretty dry but if you do wet them out, they dry pretty quickly. I like them, and think they're a good deal.

I have a pair of la police gear pants and if they didn’t have an elastic waistband I would like them a lot more. The elastic digs into my skin after a few hours and gets uncomfortable for me. My pants are a few years old so maybe they fixed that problem by now.

So true. We had a saying on the SWAT Team, if you called it "Tactical" it was worth 30% more, BUT if you painted it black and called it "SWAT", it was worth 50% more.
