These need about a dozen coats of oil before being considered complete, but wanted to show some design and color options I've messed around with.

In the light, this almost looks like a marbled tiger...

A nice natural option with some contrast in the curl...

Features im dialing in... Arca, Mlok, Recessed picatinney rails, KMW adjustable comb, etc. In progress pictures, so plenty of cleanup and sanding needed on these.

Bedding an MLok segment, threaded inserts then glued in with epoxy.

A work of art and craftsmanship. What do you topcoat the tung oil with?

Blacktail Studio on YouTube uses an ultraviolet cured topcoat that is supposed to be super durable and easy to repair. I haven’t tried it but I’m curious about it.

FYI, I don’t know if it’s just me but your text shows up black on my screen and is almost invisible.

Its just sanded in tung oil up to 1200 grit, then a very thin top coat of oil.
