They are Lte/4g. I just ordered 3 more.
I think you are wrong, 4g is not to be phased out when 5g becomes available.
They are just now phasing out 2g and 3g.

4g will be around for a very long time. Probably longer than the camera will last.

What is the life span of these cameras?

Half a season to unknown. They haven't been around a long time but I wouldn't expect a $100 price point cell cam to have reconyx like reliability. There is a 340-some page tactacam reveal thread on archery talk with support from a tactacam rep trouble shooting issues. That could give you a little insight if you read the recent pages.

What is the life span of these cameras?

I've had two of the older Reveal models in the field for over a year now, both continue to work flawlessly. Also have a Reveal X that has been out almost a year.
