Anyone have the issue of the Tactacam Reveal 2 not sending check in pics?
It used to but now it stopped.

The unit is on a solar panel (100% battery), 5% on the SD card, cell signal is Moderate.

Thoughts?

Is it sending ANY pics at all? Might want to bite the bullet and try the on demand option if that's in your plan.

I did use that option for a while. Those On Demand pics were delayed hours - so I canceled it.

I MIGHT get a check in pic once every few days. Definitely not twice a day like it was.

Following.

Update:
1- I moved the camera to get a little better signal.

2- The batteries were low so it was only running on the solar panel during the day. Replaced batteries.

3- I am now getting the 2 check in pics a day. I can request a photo and it sends, but requested videos will not send.

I had that happen on one camera early this year. Hated to walk in and check it, but no choice.
I replaced the batteries and SD card - and it started working! When I got back, I checked the batteries - they were good. I assume the SD card was the issue, somehow. Maybe the reboot, did it too. No problem since.

I have two of the 3.0 pros and occasionally when I request a video it will not send it. The nice thing about them is there is no need for an sd card as they have internal memory.

My Tactacam is 300 miles away lol.

My bet is its the SD card. I had issues with one, and bit the bullet and bought the Tactacam SD, wala, started working just fine.

Follow this to the letter. Other cards will work, until they don't.

For the REVEAL, the SD cards we require are Tactacam, Sandisk Extreme, Sandisk Extreme Pro, Herd360 Elite Pro, or Lexar and should be:
  • Class 10 / Not C4
  • U3 / Not U1
  • 16GB or 32GB, no more, no less
  • Read speed must be at least 90 MB/s
  • Full-size SD card (not micro-SD with adapter)
