T3X stock, is it much better than the previous T3?

I'm going to pull the trigger on a rifle purchase today, anybody have first-hand experience with the T3X stock VS T3
Thanks

YES ! 1000% better gripping surface at pistol and forend - much less resonant now that they're filled with foam - extra stud mount point - somewhat better recoil pad for "easy" kickers (I still recommend a Limbsaver air cell pad though) AND with the metal bolt shroud, steel recoil lug, "maybe" enlarged ejection port, added bridge mount holes for + $50, a bargain IMO

THAT'S ALL IN THE SUPERLIGHT OF COURSE ! $749 at Sportsmans Warehouse last I checked

Thanks, good info.
I currently have a T3 300 WSM and really wanted to get a stainless lite model, I've read all the threads I could find on caliber choices and currently have a 7mm rem mag, The stated 300 WSM, 30-06.... going to be used for Whitetail and an occasional elk, I'm strongly considering the 7mm-08? Or I quit buying different ammo and go with an existing caliber that I own. I don't have any intentions on beginning to hand load

all the chamberings you've mentioned are proven elk killers - I know they are not much lighter in weight than the LITE models but I've just fallen in love with the superlights and of the friends I've made aware of that version, all now own at least one of them and several have mutliples -

Sportsmans is running 10% off guns and ammo right now. Picked up my t3x superlite 7 mag for 675 not including tax. I believe tomorrow is the last day.

I played with both side by side the other day at Sportsmans... the T3X definitely feels better to me. Feels a bit more substantial due to the stock being filled. Still, they are both nice lightweight rifles.
