Hi all, what’s going to develop the least felt recoil assuming the same model T3X super lite? The 270 would be using hornady ELDX 145Gr
Vs
6.5 prc using hornady ELDX 143Gr

Any advice appreciated as I’m new to the field.

Thanks

They’re probably going to be so close that you won’t be able to tell the difference between them. Get a limbsaver recoil pad and rock on. Neither recoils all that bad. If you’re unsure about it, get a 6.5 creed. Even less recoil and plenty capable for hunting out to sane distances.

They would both be near the same with those loads. If recoil is too much, you can use a lighter bullet and lower end of the book charge weight. You didn't say what you were hunting, but 130 gr bullets in the 270 have been laying out animals since 1925 so nothing wrong with going lighter if you think it would help.

So close you cant tell the difference, it'll depoend on the exact load in each. Assuming similar bullet weights and relatively normal-for-cartridge velocities between them, even then it'll be so close you probably wont be able to tell the difference.

I’ve shot both- both suppressed, and it was very close. I would agree with the above and say negligible. Pick which one you want and don’t look back.
