T1x ammo preferences

There's not a huge range of rimfire ammo choices around me. Mostly bulk brick stuff.
I'd really rather not have to drive the length & breadth of the state having to buy & try 30 different types of ammo!

Is there a consensus of "if this doesn't work, with this or this definitely will"?

I'm not looking to win NRL rimfire matches, but I would like the consistency to be able to shoot out to a couple of hundred yards.

CCI Standard? One of the Eleys?

Mine actually shot Federal American Eagle cheap stuff better than most. 45 gr, 970 fps load I think.

CCI makes the same gr/fps in a HP it shot as well, but I was able to get a bunch of the Federal stuff for sub $5/50.

Tried 5 or 6 varieties of Eley and maybe something else, but they didn't shoot as well. Were all faster.

I dont know if that matches others experience, I was surprised.

Norma Tac-22 has worked well in my T1x and shot better than a bunch of different Eley options I tried.

40 g Aguila 22 Target Comp has shot great in 4 or 5 T1X and is relatively cheap.

I’ve put eley, sk and cci thru mine. The best shooting was sk semi auto believe it or not followed very closely by the cheapest CCI standard velocity. Needless to say I shoot thr CCI. I’ve heard alot of reports of t1s shooting the same standard velocity CCI well

I find that it shoots everything quite well. My favorite though cci subsonic because I use the gun for gophers out to about 90-100 yards.

SK standard plus shoots well out of mine, but as others have stated, CCI standard velocity is really good, too.

Mine has not been ammo sensitive at all honestly! It shots CCI standards, CCI Mini Mags, Blazers, and Aguila very well. The CcI standard is probably the best but not by much.

Honestly, I don’t shoot real expensive ammo but other than some slight variations in poa/poi, it just plan shoots.

I planned on trying several different kinds of ammo when I got my t1x but the cci standard velo shot so good I never bothered. Couldn’t beat it for the price

Ive taken cci standards in my cz 457 out to 400 quite often, that being said theres a huge difference in accuracy and consistency between the cci standard and the sk standard plus or rifle match. Like double the group size difference and alot of fliers. For high volume practice I plan on using the cci but I wont be using them in matches any more

My prints with SK standard plus as well. Honestly shoots everything well enough out to 200 yards though
