You want just the knurled flange turned off or are you looking to re-scallop the turned down knob?

Put a drill in a vise and chuck up the turret. Turn it on snd carefully use a file.

The gen II's come with both styles. Maybe they will sell you a straight set?

FWIW I believe he’s taken care of this and I think it turned out just fine
