SWFA rings using the 1” inserts?

Anyone have any experience with this?

I’ve always used them as 30mm and was curious if there were any issues while using the 1”inserts.

I’ve considered it, but never did it. I only have three mounted scopes with 1” tubes. The SWFA rings I got for one of them didn’t end up working due to spacing issues.

I’m curious if anyone other than my older brother has ever done it. I know he did it, but he never reported any issues with it.

Honestly I assumed no issues with them.
Just curious if there was anything I missed.

I've used them with no issues. Biggest problem is stopping them from spinning when leveling the scope. I'm sure someone uses double sided tape or some kind of adhesive between the spacer and the ring, but I never did.
