Why doesn't SWFA make a line geared towards hunting? SFP and more reticle options? Or do they and am I unaware? They obviously don't need the sales as they can't even keep what they have in stock, but it seems there'd surely be a market for it. Just curious.

Probably because the 3-9 with milquad is about the most meat and potatoes killing scope there is.

The 2.5-10 is SFP and has a plain duplex.
I've played with one. If all one cared about was minimizing weight, decent choice. But less eye relief, not much adjustment, and sub par low light performance.

I'd love to see the 3-9x40 or 3-15x50 in SFP and MOA.

Would be cool if they could make some running changes to the 3x9. Reduce height of turrets, cap the windage, zero-stop and/or lock on elevation.

For me, the mil-quad reticle is not ideal in the thick heavy brush, especially against dark colored feral hogs. If SWFA could add an illuminated red dot with a good rheostat control (like S&B Flash Dot technology) to the reticle that would be fantastic.

Just goes to show you there is no one size fits all solution. We all want different stuff. Which begs the question... Why don't we have custom scope builders like we have custom rifle builders? Yes, I know the cost would increase dramatically, but I bet people would still pay it to get exactly what they wanted.
