SWFA Gen 2 Fixed 6 - when??

Before I go emailing SWFA has anyone got an update on when they expect to have the 6x for sale? I emailed them late last year and they said Q1 - well Q1 is gone and no dice. Looking to put one in my 350 legend IL whitetail rig.

Good luck some of us waited years for the 3x9 to come back into stock. That said I hope they do I’d buy a few more of the 6x

I got tired of waiting and bought a 10x. I’m going to slap it on my .223 RSS and shoot some rocks in the yard and see how much I hate that much magnification up close.

If it’s suitable enough for 40-50 yard shots I’m just going to run it. If the 6x comes out anytime soon, I’ll grab one of those too.

I’ve been playing around with the two I have mounting them and shooting targets side by side 10X and 6X.
6X field of view is definitely ideal, but 10X doesn’t seem like a bad option. I have never hunted with a fixed 10 though so hard to tell what I’d really think in up close situations.
I’d like to know what people who regularly hunt with a 10X think

I actually sent them a message on Monday asking if a 3-9 Gen 2 was gonna drop, and if the 6x is coming back. Waiting for a reply

I’ve been doing similar with other scopes on 9/10 power in the yard popping rocks at 30-100 yards. I really think that I can make the 10x work. But then again, I shot my last buck with a rifle at ~5 yards. So if that happens again this year I might be screwed.

But we’ll see!

Yeah hard to predict every situation seems more tailor made for the open sagebrush country, imo.

I hope they roll out some more 6x I love that scope for out to about 500ish yards. (For me) Quick and simple

I had emailed them not long ago and they said reasonably confident this year not really sure when. He said best guess was Q3 but thit it was just a guess.
