It’s a bit strange when manufacturers don’t offer stock notifications. Almost as if they don’t want customers to find out it’s in stock and available to be purchased.

That’s true, but it would be a small help to their loyal customers looking to purchase one. Instead of happening to be on a forum such as RS and seeing someone post they are available, or similarly checking their website multiple times a day for months at a time.

meh. Buy stuff like that when you find it, not when you need it.

They are good scopes, and I have a pile of them. I doubt I would ever look that hard for one though.
