I had a brand new 6x do this during the fall. Got zeroed and took it on a hunt just to find exactly what you have in the middle of it the hunt. Mine did not hold zero. I was pretty disappointed as this was the first SWFA I had owned and my experience didn’t line up with all of the reviews I’d read here but had absolutely zero issues getting a replacement and have since bought two more SWFA scopes. Limited shooting on the new ones but so far so good.
Just got my first SWFA a month ago. Yes, the 3-9. Used the Wheeler level kit like I always do and my reticle was rotated clockwise as well. Since I already had a level on the barrel showing when the gun was level, I just hung a plumb bob and leveled the vertical line in the reticle to that. Turrets are canted a bit, but I’m in Texas & don’t have time to wait for a replacement. Too hot to shoot most of the year.
Now, mine was tilted from the beginning and since then I’ve worked up a load and trued it at range. Over 200 rounds later it tracks, RTZ is good, etc. Gotta say, I never dialed before and I’m loving it. Geez it’s easy to make hits.
Did yours come like that or did you suddenly notice it at the range? They’ll swap it for sure, they offered to do that for mine. Best of luck, I bought mine after all the rave reviews on here & despite the tilted reticle it has been reliable so far.
