Anyone purchase stuff from swazi? Looking to buy some of their fleece and was wondering how long the shipping takes. And how true to size their fit is.

Thanks in advance.!

Product has been at my door within 10 days of every order.
Sizing had been true to size for me.

Ordered the Hood recently and it's a really nice piece so far. Haven't had a chance to use it in the field yet but seems like it will be a really warm mid-layer or super-quiet outer layer in cold, dry weather.

From NZ to CA in about a week. I'll buy from them again.

Ordered the Hood and had it within couple weeks I believe. Felt like the size ran just a little small...only the one piece currently tho but feels bombproof.

I live on the west coast, so that’s probably a factor here. Nonetheless, I ordered the hood and a couple other articles of clothing from Swazi and they had those items to my door in under three days! That was with their standard shipping. I may have just lucked out with the timing/ customs but pretty impressive either way. I’ve also been very happy with the quality so far!

It's a shame that fast shipping isn't reciprocal from anything in the USA. Just waited 7.5 weeks for a package from field optics research and when it got here half the order wasn't in it. Guess I'll wait another 2 months for the other half. Waited 6 weeks for a different package from the USA also. Worst thing is it's more expensive than me sending something to USA.

If mine ever show up.....I'll provide feedback. FedEx has been bouncing it around the country for the last week and a half.

What sets Swazi apart from any other polar fleece you can get from Cabelas, Amazon, etc? Genuinely curious because, unlike wool, it seems like fleece is pretty much fleece?

Great question. I've wondered the same thing. Interested to hear some thoughts.

From what i have had over the years, their are different density's of fleece. The thicker it is the warmer and more wind resistant it is. Also the tighter the weave the better. That's all i know.

Dove into the Swazi koolaid not overly impressed, shipping is super fast. Actually arrived a week earlier then DHL quoted. Size is a bit of a worry. 5'9" 150 ordered a medium HOOD and its pretty snug, thin t shirt or long sleeve or base layer and thats about all you'll get under it comfortably definitely worried about shrinkage in the wash, anyone experience that at all?. The actual hood is tiny, like easily smallest hood I've had it doesn't even fully cover my hair, and just goes past my ears so like half the side of my face and top of my head is exposed, good for visibility I guess not great at keeping cold or wind off. My favorite part is the tail on the back side but without any type of synch on the torso its kind a mute point and with no draft block on the back of the half zip it feels pretty unfinished and wind goes right through. Also ordered the Dribacks in medium typically wear a 32/30 length is good probably would fit a 32 inseam as well but 34s might be sort. The legs are not made for those with thunder thighs or big calves they are pretty snug actually.

Overall for the price and all the hype on here I'm pretty blah on it so far, haven't done anything other then walk around the house, and the block in them so maybe with some real use they grow on me but sizing and the shape of the actual hood is pretty annoying

I had a Swazi "the hood" and ended up selling it on RokSlide after a few months. It was very cozy (as is all new fleece) but I wasn't super impressed. I really didn't find it to be that much different that other fleece I had owned.

That's odd, I've got the Hood I'm 5'9" and 170-ish, and the sizing feels appropriate to me - not too big, not too small. The hood is small, by design I'm pretty sure, but not as small as you describe. Wondering if you got a bad piece?
