So if I read it right, $1800 gets a black card holder $90 points, plus an additional 2x bonus points. So another $180 in points. So roughly $1530 for a black card guy. Not too shabby.

There's actually a couple different offers out there. For club members you can get 10% off anything and free shipping, but more importantly you can use your club points for the purchase. I had been eyeing the Swaro Z5 4-18x44 with BT for a year and would never see it go on sale. I also have a boat load of points from the past couple years. I just picked up the scope for $1,460...all club points from the credit card. Offer code is 15CLUBTEN3 I mention this because the terms of service/offer you see on their website is slightly different than what I received in the email. The email stated I could use my points, where the one on the site stated I needed to charge it to my credit card to get the offer. ....just thought I would mention it.

Given there's rumors of Cabelas selling the company and/or their credit card business, I thought it might be wise to unload my points. The airlines have screwed me in the past by changing their terms, where the points become worth much less or much harder to use. So using most of my points seemed like a good move.
